Pride Scotia has been rebranded Pride Edinburgh, as part of a new management and will include an exciting range of events this coming June.
Following its 10 years of existence, the festival of events, which includes the Pride parade, will now be known as Pride Edinburgh, and has a new visual identity.
Pride Edinburgh is planning to attain a charity status by this summer as well making changes to the way it is run and its format, including its associated festival.
The event is also building up its own website: www.prideedinburgh.org.uk, and developing its Facebook and Twitter account.
The march will take place on Saturday 20 of June 2015, while a Fringe Programme of events will take between the 17-22 of June.

Speaking with KaleidoScot, Brett Herriot, Chair of Pride Edinburgh, said: “We are rebranding to Edinburgh pride as we decided to refocus the organisation and what it means to the city we run the festival for.
“It seemed the right time to celebrate 20 years of pride in Scotland by relaunching Pride Scotia as Edinburgh pride!
“We have a brand new committee including a trans engagement officer and we plan on developing the festival and pride day itself for the inclusion and betterment of the LGBTI community.”
Pride Edinburgh will remain a free and inclusive event for all, and a new exciting range of events, including celebrities, music, arts and much more, to be announced soon.
