The campaigner explains how research and grassroots needs guide HIV Scotland’s understanding of issues relating to HIV in Scotland, and in turn shapes the charity’s work on policies.
Valiotis discusses how HIV people people in Scotland guide the charity, through the Annual Positive Person’s Forum, and the Positive Person’s Manifesto.
He also explains how these guide the Charity’s work, in helping the Scottish Government shape policies, guiding NHS Scotland and other partner organisations and institutions.
Valiotis further discusses leading research, such as the partner studies, and its implications for education, prevention and policies.
